Market Stats for September 2022 - Rego Realty

Home sales have been steadily declining since the Bank began its series of interest rate hikes.

Higher mortgage interest rates have also led many sellers to hold off on listing their home, causing new listings to soften from the previous month. Also, according to the Canada Real Estate Association, marking the sixth consecutive month values have declined. Meanwhile, rental demand has exploded nationwide, with average rent prices reaching a three year high.
